# Integration Overview

**Transform isolated tools into intelligent, living ecosystems that learn, adapt, and evolve together.**

{% hint style="success" %}
**Living Integrations** go beyond static connections—they create intelligent relationships between systems that learn from data flow patterns, adapt to changing business needs, and continuously optimize performance. Your connected tools become a living ecosystem that works smarter with every interaction.

## Integrations in Taskade

Integrations connect Taskade to the tools you already use. They run through Automations using **triggers** (events) and **actions** (what happens next).

If you want the bigger model, start with [Workspace DNA](/platform/workspace-dna.md).

### What you can do

* **Notify and route work**: Slack/Teams alerts, assignments, escalations.
* **Sync data**: push form submissions into a CRM, write rows to Sheets, create tickets.
* **Move faster**: auto-create tasks, summaries, follow-ups, and reports.
* **Close loops**: trigger workflows from app events and write results back into projects.

### Typical workflows

* Lead capture → qualify → create CRM record → notify team
* Support email/webhook → categorize → create ticket → assign owner
* Schedule trigger → generate report → send to stakeholders

### Quick start

1. Connect a tool from the Integrations screen.
2. Create an automation with a trigger + action.
3. Test with real data.

* [Actions & Triggers](/automations/automation/actions.md)
* [Integration Options](/automations/automation/integrations.md)

## Popular Integrations

Most teams start with:

* Communication: Slack, Microsoft Teams, email
* Productivity: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365
* Data: Google Sheets, Airtable
* CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce
* Dev: GitHub, Jira

Full list and setup details: [Integration Options](/automations/automation/integrations.md)

## Advanced Integration Patterns

Start with one trigger and one outcome. Then add steps and branches.

Common patterns:

* Form submission → qualify → create CRM record → notify Slack
* Support email/webhook → categorize → create ticket → assign owner
* Schedule trigger → generate report → send digest

See the full building blocks:

* [Automation Getting Started](/automations/automation.md)
* [Actions & Triggers](/automations/automation/actions.md)

## Integration Best Practices

Keep these four things tight:

* **Scope**: grant the minimum permissions you need.
* **Test**: run with real data, not placeholders.
* **Handle failures**: decide what to do when an API call fails.
* **Observe**: monitor errors and retries for critical workflows.

## Custom Integration Development

Don’t see your tool? Use HTTP requests/webhooks or the Taskade API.

* [Developer Overview](/apis-and-developer/developer-home/developers.md)
* [Actions & Triggers](/automations/automation/actions.md)

## Getting Started with Integrations

### Planning Your Integration Strategy

Keep it simple:

1. Pick one workflow you want to automate end-to-end.
2. Choose one trigger and one destination tool.
3. Add steps only after the core path works.

### Implementation Checklist

* ✅ Connect the integration
* ✅ Build one automation
* ✅ Test with real data
* ✅ Add notifications for failure cases

## Support and Resources

**Enterprise Integration Support**: Enterprise customers receive priority support for integrations, including dedicated integration specialists and custom development services.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.taskade.com/automations/automation/comprehensive-integration-guide.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
